It looks big, buy cialis but it always does just being held up. It fit well, and looked good on her.

Here is item #27, capsule a faux linen blouse. (I believe the material is a synthetic material.)

I was able to find buttons that matched perfectly! It was so neat.

Here is project #28, a little fancy dress for Lydia.

It is a satin top, with a layered skirt. There is a sheer layer on top of the skirt. I had hoped to have it done in time for the wedding that we went to back in Florida at the beginning of December, but at this point, I am glad to have the dress done. 🙂

The Fair

27 Sep

Bright and early saw me headed to the Isaacson Ranch to pick up Sis Connie Isaacson to head to the fairgrounds to enter my goods for judging. Needless to say who I thought of when I arrived:

(If you can’t guess…it was Reuben.)

A look at some of the produce that was there. I’m sorry about the blurryness.

Some livestock. (Okay…so one goat doesn’t count as “Some”, but still…)

I was very tired at the end of the day, and quite glad to head home. I think I will be much better prepared for next year though…

Quilts and a helper

25 Sep

I decided to make a few little quilts, order and enter them into the fair. I love a dresden plate quilt, and my Grandma gave me a few cute little templates that were by far easier than the ones I had. I thought these pieces looked like butterflies.

Here they are, the “Plates”.

52 projects

24 Aug

I have started a goal for myself back at the beginning July called 52 projects in 52 Weeks. It is for my sewing projects, and I have to get 52 projects (from scratch, finishing, or altering) within 52 weeks. Here is a couple of my projects:

A denim skirt for one of the girls in church.

DSCF1465

Altering a jacket so that the ruffles don’t stand out so much.

DSCF1466

The finished look of the ruffles.

We’ll see how I finish up. Will I be able to keep up, or will I burn up and fizzle out in the atmosphere?
